Mass and Christmas Tree Lighting Coordinated by Agnes Lago
4:15 p.m. - 5:45 p.m. lighting of the San Juan Capistrano Christmas tree begins in Historic Towne Center Park. Entertainment will start at 4:15; actual lighting will be around 5:30.

CCF agenda:
We'll car pool from Christmas caroling 3:15 to 4:00 to San Juan Capistrano Basilica
Saturday Vigil Mass at 4:30.

Meet at the Basilica entrance at 4:10-4:15. We'll try to seat closer to the back rows by the
door/center Isle for visibility. have a narrow time to make it there so right after Mass head out there to catch the tree lighting itself.
5:30-5:45 HTC Park - Christmas see lighting (head out to Camino Real, and Del Obispo Street)

FOOD:
Info at San Juan suggested going for street fair instead of a formal restaurant as it will be hard to get reservations.

ACTIVITIES, Our Picks:
6:15-7 Nativity Show on Los Rios St.
7-8 Catch a free train ride (goes 6-9) if we don't loose time looking for people and there's room and interest among the attendees.

Alternates: Hay ride (and pay your $5 there) or just chill at the O'neil Museum earlier. 8-8:30 (Note: opens at 7 for those who didn't make it to the train ride) O'neil
Museum on Los Rios st. (Free Cider and cookies) 8:30 - Metrolink will have a Santa Show and its yuletide train will be at Los Rios (end of Verdugo

For those coming in late, we can just meet up at the HTC Park. (There will be entertainment there starting at 4:15). Walk about around 5:30 until you see a few of us - There will be a lot of people there so try to be prompt please make your own map - don't rely on last minute phone calls as signals may drop or your call may not be heard in the din. Please be considerate and allow enough preparation and planning on your part to enjoy the event.
Confirmation early thru meet up so we can try looking for you at each of the time stops above.
